In the early spring of March, when everything is coming back to life, students from Nanjing Jindi Future School also made their mark in a number of competitions, winning a number of medals in the fields of business, science and art.
The school and its teachers, guided by the school's characteristics of "building on tradition, technology, sports and arts, and business", supported the students' active exploration in various competitions from all angles, helping to enhance their competitiveness in further education.

The cultivation of financial and economic thinking is not only limited to the mastery of subject knowledge in the classroom, but should also be tested in the practice of leadership and the cultivation of critical thinking in the examination and debate.
Our students won the national prize and the silver prize in the preliminary round of the BPA Business Challenge in China, as well as the gold prize in the regional championship, and have successfully advanced to the global final.
The BPA (Business Professionals of America) Business All-Around Challenge, one of the three major business competitions in the United States, is officially accredited by the United States Department of Education (USED) and the Career Planning Education Association (CTSO) and recommended by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) as the world's leading academic event for business management, financial accounting and information technology. It is the leading global academic event for secondary school students in business management, financial accounting and information technology, and is a highly prestigious competition on the international stage.
Since its inception in 1966, BPA has over 1,800 clubs worldwide, adding 45,000 new participating students each year, and has partnered with dozens of international Fortune 500 companies, with participating students widely recognised by academic and prestigious companies from around the world, including Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and Hilton.

Subjective Team - National Overall Score Award - Silver Award
It was an honour to achieve this in the BPA competition and our group did a lot of market research and study to present a better entry. During this process we brought ourselves into the scenario setting and thought about it, understanding what we needed to consider as a small business and had many discussions, which improved our abilities. In the final video recording stage, we wrote and directed our own video of the exclusive KESA Happy Birthday song in order to gain the judges' approval and achieve the best possible results.

Through constant bonding and helping each other out, we recorded and submitted the video to everyone's satisfaction. We are very happy to have achieved this result and we will continue to work hard in the next global competition to live up to everyone's efforts.
International Economics Olympiad, IEO
This year is the first time that a Chinese education organisation has been awarded the right to host an IEO competition worldwide. In the 2022 IEO Regional Competition, students from Nanjing Jindi Future School were selected from thousands of competitors from more than 300 schools across China and won a total of one silver medal for the overall national individual score and two regional individual prizes! Five of our students have also been selected for the IEO National Team in May and we look forward to their success in the next rounds of auditions!
As one of the thirteen global science Olympiads, the IEO International Economics Olympiad is a highly recognised and respected event in economics for high school students around the world.

Regional Individual Merit Award in Macroeconomics
For me, learning, since I should be true to my heart, follow my heart, be faithful and move towards my goal. I love a quote from Dust Bowl: "A seven-foot man should have the courage of ten swings and ten decisions." Ever since I read this quote, I have been using it as a motto to encourage myself.
Doing my best in everything has become the norm for me. From being an ignorant teenager in my first year of high school to being the vice president of the student council and receiving all kinds of awards and certificates, the journey has been difficult and unimaginable.
Fortunately, I have a good group of friends who encourage me when I am down, a good class teacher who shares my joy when I am happy, and a good economics teacher, Ms Sun, who pushes me when I am proud, and answers my questions and encourages me, without her, I would not be who I am now.
In addition to the NEC Economics Competition, which won a gold medal at the beginning of the year (Happy News! Congratulations to our students who won the regional NEC Economics Challenge with a perfect score), the BPA Business All-Around Challenge and the IEO International Economics Olympiad were also coached by Ms Sun Yangxue.

It was only after coming to this school that I really got to know economics. And before this competition, I didn't even really think that I would be so interested in economics in the future. At first when I saw the topics I was bleary-eyed and couldn't understand anything, and sometimes I even thought of giving up, but when I slowly followed the lessons on the website later, I discovered the beauty of economics and found it much, much more enjoyable.
So I started to search for knowledge related to economics on other websites on my own, and I also asked Mr Sun a lot of questions about how to study economics and brushed up on many topics. The further you study, the more interesting you will find the content you learn, but also the more difficult it is. But it was this kind of challenging thing that made my love for economics deeper and deeper.
United Kingdom Mathematics Trust
Intermediate Mathematical Challenge
On 4 February 2022, the "UK Intermediate Mathematical Thinking Challenge (UKMT-IMC)" organised by ASDAN (ASDAN China) was held online. Under the guidance of Mr. Liu Wu Yang, our students were selected from nearly 4,000 candidates and won 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals, adding another medal to the wall of honour of our mathematics competition.
Established in 1996, the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) aims to improve the mathematical education of young people in the UK by offering a wide range of national-level mathematical thinking challenges for students aged 11 to 18 in the UK.
UKMT encourages students to use their logical reasoning skills, develop critical thinking and use basic mathematical methods to solve new and interesting problems. Attracting over 700,000 students from over 6,000 schools across the UK each year, it is the largest and most influential national mathematical thinking challenge in the UK. The UKMT also uses a series of Mathematical Thinking Challenges to select the best UK students to form the UK National Team for the International Mathematical Olympiad.

International Youth Music Festival
From 8-10 February 2022, nearly 200 music-loving youths from across the country met in the clouds to kick off a 3-day musical journey in excitement and thrill. Knowledge quiz, online learning and competition on the same stage ......
At the Vienna International Youth Music Festival's Cloud site, nearly 200 contestants in a total of 10 categories competed online in the ZOOM room and were simultaneously streamed live in real time by the organising committee in 10 live streaming rooms on B-site. Judges and teachers scored and recorded the performance of the contestants during their performances.
Under the guidance of Ms. Ma Ruoyu, Ye Zimeng of the Secondary Section won the Gold Award in the Vocal Children's Group and Pi Mingxuan won the Silver Award in the Children's Group for playing Western instruments. The road to art is long and difficult, but the future is bright.
The 28th Jiangsu Youth Science
and Technology Model Competition
In order to cultivate young people's ability of science and technology innovation and hands-on practice, cultivate students' interest in science and develop their potential in science and technology, the 28th Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Model Competition Wooden Beam Weighing Project Nanjing City Selection Competition was held in our school.
During the preparation stage, CAS instructors spent several lessons on the principles of load-bearing wooden beams and inspired students to make the most load-bearing wooden beams in their minds from various angles, such as cutting, pressure and force.
In the official competition, Primary Chan Lok Sin won the first prize in the Wooden Beam Competition, while Wang Zifei, Zhang Teng Yue and Chen Ziliang won the second prize!
Once again, congratulations to all our students and thanks to the hard work of all the students and instructors involved, we are fortunate to share this honour together. We hope that our students will be able to compete in all future challenges and continue to sharpen their skills in the years to come!
